Cathodic protection inspection
Protect your asset and overall project success with a cathodic protection (CP) inspection survey, supported by an STR trained inspector.
We offer comprehensive pipeline and platform CP Inspection survey packages for both ROV and Diver use. For ROV operations, our STR CP Probe provides power and a digital interface between the CP probe sensor and the ROV communication network for reliable ROV based CP inspection.
Readings are converted to an RS232 data string and transferred by the ROV mux system to the STR CP Probe Logger software. The CP Probe is a dual reference cathodic protection probe and can be used as a ‘stabbing’ tip-contact probe or as a proximity electrode by using a surface ground wire. For diver operations STR offers the user-friendly CP Gun.
